Kalifornia has real problems. And, I thought, some possibilities for improvement. All chance of improvement has, in my mind, now been lost.
It has already been proven that neither the D's or the R's have the solution. And everyone says you must be one of those, as anything else requires a LOT of money to get candidate name recognition.
Along comes Arnold Shwartzenegger (sp?), the one man who believes that he might have enough name recognition to be elected Governor, and doesn't need either party to do so. But he decides to avoid the fight before it starts, by becoming an irrelevant R.
Kalifornia lost its one real chance; a candidate who could have won without the damning R label. Jesse Ventura did it, Shwartzenegger could have done it also. Whatever these non R, non D candidates think, and whatever their policies might be, almost anything is an improvement to being associated with the R gang or the D gang.
We as Americans must realize that this street gang war is never in our benefit, as both are the enemies of the people, and the very nature of the Party system is that any decision between "do what the people want" and "do what the Party wants" is always decided in favor of the Party.
I totally disagree with anyone who says "I must vote for the winner, even though I detest him." "To vote for anyone else is a waste."
To vote for a tyrannical "party" who wishes to continue your slavery is the mistake. Our only hope is to find people who will not follow the party line, almost regardless of how ridiculous their ideas might be.
Standard Disclaimer:
Nothing in this blog entry for or against any R or D implies in any way that any other R or D would be an improvement. Anyone who votes for any R or D votes for slavery.
